EXAMPLES OF COMMENTS ON THE MARINE ECOLOGY STATION

 -the highlight of my summer vacation in British Columbia

 -really exciting to feel involved in a working laboratory

 -very instructive, we need more of this type of thing

 -I've been walking on barnacles all my life and didn't realize they were alive

 -really exciting to have a hands-on experience rather than a passive museum

 -wish we had something like this in our town

 -can't you bring this to Vancouver/Tofino/Nanaimo/Victoria?

 -we need a facility like this at the Vancouver Public Aquarium

 -this must be a fantastic experience for school students

 -we wish we had time to spend another two hours exploring

 -the Marine Science Camp program inspired our daughter to apply for a scholarship

 -after this visit I now feel that I have seen everything [82 year old]

 -this has certainly changed my perception of what lives in the sea

 -you mean this is really an animal?

 -the entire set up is very user-friendly

 -thanks for all your encouragement of my studies, it meant a great deal to me

 -I never realized these animals were so complicated until I looked through your microscopes

 -a superb school program

 -an excellent contribution to our Pro D Day, enthusiastically received and much talked about

 -thank you for providing such an excellent educational program for the Vancouver Island School Trustees' Association 

 -I was overwhelmed with the Marine Ecology Station - an outstanding facility offering an excellent service [President of Science Council of BC]
